Christophe Beau :Born in France in 1968, Christophe Beau developed a great passion for african game from a very young age. He joined the french military (marines) in 1988 and spent over a year in Sénégal. He has not left Africa since and has settled in South Africa since 1994. Christophe graduated as a professional hunter in various countries such as South Africa, Mozambique and Tanzania. He is also a full member of PHASA (Professional Hunter's Association of South Africa) and an official measurer for the SCI (Safari Club International) as well as for Rowland Ward. During the last twelve years, Christophe has acquired great experience as a professional hunter, guiding in most of southern Africa's countries such as South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Tanzania. This diversity has completed his knowledge acquired in West Africa, making him one of the great specialists in his field.
Christophe is also a qualified diver and has organised shark diving expeditions for professional photographers on a regular basis. He organized and conducted expeditions for European and American TV between 1995 and today, for Thalassa (France), Segment / la Cinquième (Europe), Ushuaia / Nicolas Hulot (France & Europe) as well as Deep Ocean Odyssey with Jean_Michel Cousteau and his son Fabien (USA). He has also contributed to the European hunting channel Seasons and to the french hunting press.
Tracker : Xolilé Sinyongo Age: Born in South Africa in 1957, Xolilé is from the Xhosa tribe.Languages: Xhosa, Zulu, Swazi, Shangane, English
Hunting experience: Xolilé has always been in the hunting industry. He first worked as a game ranger (anti-poaching unit) with the Eastern Cape National Parks, then at a local taxidermist, where he prepared skins to be mounted. He has over 20 years of hunting with various PHs when he joined the Grand safari Team in 1998. Since then, he has been hunting with Christophe in Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia and South Africa. Xolilé is a good tracker, he does an excellent job on field preparation of all skins and is also in charge of our everyday vehicle logistics while hunting. Xolilé is a loyal companion
DOMINO :Age: Born on the 10/11/2001
Breed: Jack Russell cross Fox Terrier female
Languages: French, English, Xhosa and chicken bones
Hunting experience: Domino started her carrier in 2002, she found her first wounded warthog in May 2004. She has found many other wounded and dead animals ever since, from Blue Duiker to Hippopotamus. Size does NOT matter, when it comes to suspected wounded animal, Domino is on every track. On average, she will find 15 to 30 "totally lost" beasts every season, some of ours, some belonging to others. She has made a name for herself!
