Experience the very spirit of an African safari, situated in the South East of Africa. You will be rewarded with the sight of vast wilderness areas, unchanged from their past fame as Africa's greatest hunting lands. The terrain varies, being grass and palm savannahs, forest and swamp.

Our concession
Coutada 11, is part of the Marromeu complex and is bordering the mighty Zambezi River. It is approximately 2000 square kms. The area is located in the central part of Mozambique and near the coast. Accommodation is in East African tented style.
The spectrum of wildlife is quite remarkable, having 20 huntable game species from the tiny Livingstone Suni to the Elephant. Buffalo roam the open flood plains and swamps in herds of several hundred and Sable in huge herds often nearing 100. The concession has 3 main distinctive types of habitat, namely Sand Forests, Tropical Savannah, and Swamps which make this area totally unique. A long term lease with the government has ensured that sound management practices implemented have assisted in making this area one of the finest free roaming game lands in Africa today.
Together with our partners in Mozambique, we have owned Coutada 11 since 1994 and over the years with game management practices and anti poaching have managed to help and increase the numbers of game in the area for future hunters.
Hunters fly into Beira International airport and a short charter finds you landing in one of the most pristine hunting concessions in Africa.

Our camps
We have 2 camps within the concession. The first being our original camp, Mungari. This is a typical East African style tented camp with bathrooms en - suite. There are 4 tents accommodating 2 clients in each. The camp is set in the lush tropical sand forest which holds abundant bird life. The second camp is Mgazi camp. This camp was used by the Portuguese hunters in the late 60's. Due to the war this camp was neglected and only in 2007 did we revamp it. The camp is built out of bricks and mortar and has 2 rooms with bathrooms en - suite.

Hunting season is from 1st June - 30 November.
